Walton-area events for July

Some highlights:
Prepare for the Future art show at KIPNZ - show opening today from 4:00-7:00, will remain on exhibit through July 30th.
From Forest to Faucet, at the library July 29th, 11:00 am. – Brittany Schenck, a forestry educator of the Watershed Agricultural Council, will be giving an exciting and educational talk about New York State forests, water, and the NYC Watershed. Participants will have an opportunity for some hands on learning.
Larry Sez Golf Tournament, August 8th, 8:30am – Join us for 18 holes of golf, Captain Crew format, delicious lunch, silent auction and prizes. Funds generated from the wildly populated event will be used to support a scholarship at Walton Central School. An annual $1,000 scholarship will go to a graduating WCS student interested in pursuing areas of engineering, journalism, sports science/management, and community service. $60/person, or $240/team.
