Hello Waltonians!

The start of the school year is upon us, and fall is approaching. Here are some suggestions from The Waltonian for things to do this month:

  • Check out the newly opened Galleria Riano for art, antiques, and coffee.

  • Attend a Community Art Event at The Uplands Center on September 14th. Limited spots, so check out the link and contact them soon if interested.

  • The WCS Class of 2020 will be sponsoring the Breakfast at White Birch Airport this Sunday, Sept. 8th, serving 8:00am-12:00pm.

  • In Margaretville, on September 4th, is Kelsey Grammer’s Faith American Brewing Company Soft Opening.

  • Join the Monday Night Volleyball group on Facebook if you’re an adult looking for a group to play volleyball with this school year. $5 for the year, more info to be found within the Facebook group.

  • Plenty of events at the library again this month. Check out their September newsletter for details.

That’s all I have this month, but if you’re looking for more to do, check out Everything Walton’s community calendar. And definitely submit your events both here and there if you’re involved with hosting anything.

The next newsletter is scheduled for October 1st. If there’s an October event or news you’d like us to share, just respond to this email prior to that date. Feedback and ideas always welcome.

Thanks for reading,

—Chris Ogden

P.S.: Who’s checked out this new mini-golf course in Bovina? Looks like fun! If anyone has more information or reviews, please write back and I’ll share.
