Hello Waltonians!
It’s been a while since our last update; but here we are, and we have some exciting news to share!
In today’s newsletter:

A new website for The Waltonian
We’ve launched a new website for The Waltonian! You can read our inaugural welcome post here.
This newsletter will continue to operate, with a focus on public events and current happenings, with additional links to other content posted on our website. We'll use the site for longer essays, evergreen content, as well as some additional experiments.
Please read the post for a better idea of what we plan to publish on the website. You are encouraged to reach out if you have any ideas for what we should write about or if you would like to contribute an article.
Also note the site is a work in progress. For example, we’re currently missing a proper homepage. That said, if you have trouble using the site (especially on mobile) please take a screenshot and send it our way so we can fix the issue. I’ve tested it for a variety of devices, but there are so many devices and browsers out there now that I’m sure I’ve missed some issues.
Revisiting our Walton Advent Calendar
Our Advent Calendar series was a big hit back in 2018, so we’ve revised the posts and included them on our new website along with a cutesy snowfall animation.
We’ve linked all the posts below:

They’ve got a cool space exhibit currently: “Bushel has been temporarily transformed by Test Launch: Prototype for a Space Age Museum, an all-ages trip through a selection of space age folk art and design culled from Hobart resident Peter Kleeman's extensive family collection.”
Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
